I think it's more because his personality doesn't inspire devotion in the same way as a Hatton or a Frank Bruno. They were everymen people could connect with. Joshua is bland and inoffensive which means he has a wide appeal, but nobody intensely loves him in the same was as some of the other guys.

I'm a patent examiner in quite a niche technology field for the government here. I've been offered a job at the Swiss equivalent for quite a lot more money on a temporary basis but I may move full time if everything goes well. So there won't be a new Swiss boxing fan posting in here, just me.

To be a fair stand-up boxing match in a 24-foot ring, or as near that size as practicable.
