Outside of Everton away, Chelsea have a pretty easy run in. Spurs will drop points as well. I still see Chelsea winning the league by about 4 or 5 points.
>>
>>75278874
They both face manure and arse at home, they can win both games, especially the one against arse.

They could definitely beat Lester too.
Now anything can happen but with manure and Everton away, Chelsea had tougher fixtures for the end of the season... and them choking against CP was unexpected. Might even cost them the title.

It's not going to happen. Kane's injuries this season really hurt Spurs, they dropped too many points early in the season when he was out and they didn't have a consistent goalscorer.

I cannot believe Tottenham will win this time. It's incredible. Congratulations to them.

>>
>>75282982
I'm not sure if it's possible, they're way too far ahead of Arsenal. Unless you're talking about "choking" in the sense that they don't win the title, which wouldn't be choking because they were never in a position to win it.
>>
>>75281536
Spurs coped pretty well without Kane thanks to Sonny. The real problem is Poch's pre-seasons being so intense Spurs spend the first few weeks of the season giving away stupid draws.

same applies to a whole lot of clubs who managed to advance from the group stages, spee and the media are horrible when it comes to deciding if the plucky underdog (which Spurs aren't really) is now a legit contender for whatever or just the quirky sidekick who always overachieves and every excuse that doesn't apply to other clubs works in their favor.

>>>

>>75288997
>Chelsea/United/City/Poop or Arse
City is Poop?

This is how I rate all the English teams in Europe:

Liverpool: their press works very good against big teams, as has been shown this year against the top 6
Chelsea: are defensive, which is how English teams win in Europe. See Benitez's Liverpool, Chelsea over the years and even Man Utd were very defensively strong when they were winning in Europe
Arsenal: an utter fucking joke and somehow manage to embarrass not just themselves but a whole country. Unless they get Allegri (an actually good manager) they should be nowhere near the CL.
Man Utd: could be good because Mou can defend
Spurs: don't want to judge them on their first season because it takes a while to acclimatise
Man City: should be good because they play a mainland style of play but that didn't work out this season. Maybe they will have their act sorted out next season; who knows?
>>
>>75289642
>when it comes to deciding if the plucky underdog (which Spurs aren't really)

Wait, how are they not? They're Everton-tier in terms of spending and wages and are all the way up in second.
>>
>>75289493
The quote is that they play nice football but ultimately (Man Utd) will do them. That's more like Arsenal than Spurs because Spurs actually compete and have a pretty good mentality in matches. Whether they have it in a run-in is debatable but that is not what Roy Keane was talking about.
>>
>>75279170

>>75289691

Spurs lost Bale you stupid cunt, a world class player

They didn't spend any more money than they raised from Bale
>>
>>75289769

>spending doesn't count when the money came from real madrid

>>
>>75277002
>It's actually happening.
spurs CANNOT win all their games

nothing's happening
>>
>>75289975
That isn't the point. There is a differencr in spending because the club is absurdly rich and spending because the club lost a player or players of roughly the same value. The whole point of the argument is that Spurs are nowhere near their richer competitors in England financially, and that spending a huge amount in a single summer doesn't change that becsuse they were only spending the money they received after losing a world class player.
>>
>>75290055
sounds like you are talking about Arsenal from 2006 - 2014, you see where the problem lies ?
>>
>>75285440
palace away is draw all the way. chelsea are only dropping points vs everton. they will the league by with a game to spare.
>>
>>75290094
I'm not the same. In 2006, Arsenal were richer than Milan and Bayern.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deloitte_Football_Money_League

Of course the stadium limited their spending after 2006, but they were still one of the three richest teams in England (four after the Man City takeover). Very different situation from the one Spurs are in, where they aren't even close to the top 5.
>>
>>75290183
being rich and not doing anything with the money hardly benefits the team. Arsenal for reasons obvious didn't spend enough money to stay competitiv despite having funds available from player sales and massive cash reserves. They still managed to advance from their respective CL group stages (which was the intial argument) while getting mocked all the way until kingdome come algonside the usual injury breakdowns they have every season.
Tottenham are staying in exactly the same position Arsenal were years ago with more money available and a way way weaker league domestically. There is no excuse for them to not advance from their group stage that I didn't hear before.
>>
>>75290352
>Arsenal for reasons obvious didn't spend enough money to stay competitive

They clearly did. I think we have different definitions of competitive. Arsenal didn't spend enough to be a contender to win the CL anymore, but they definitely spent enough to consistently qualify for it.

>They still managed to advance from their respective CL group stages (which was the intial argument)

Because they were incredibly rich. Paying for the Emirates forced Arsenal to limit their spending, but they still could and did spend far more than Spurs.

>Tottenham are staying in exactly the same position Arsenal were years ago with more money available

No, not the exact same position at all. And they're doing it with far less money available. Their revenue today is lower than Arsenal's was 10 years ago.
>>
Chelsea will let it slip, we won't
>>
