Why would you play a WR in goal? WRs are supposed to be fast and agile - stick him out on the wing instead of wasting his talent and having him stand still for 90% of the game.

Goalkeepers also need to be fairly tall. 6'2 is probably the minimum height that you'd expect to see in a professional. The average WR is only 5'11.

Maybe Julio Jones (or someone like him) would be a solid GK, but again, why would you put your fastest man in goal?

Football has nowhere near the depth of soccer, which is actually the thinking man's sport. Only person on a football field that needs to think and actually she a few braincells to rub together is the QB

I'd say 6'1, and even then you get goalies that are shorter, like Sommer, Casillas, Ospina, Bravo

I think a baseball shortstop might be decent at goalie, but most of them are pretty short.

Let's get real for a moment. Obviously somebody who never played the sport before is going to suck. But if handegg players had trained their whole life to become divegrass players many of them would have been able to go professional. Same goes vice versa for divegrass players in a handegg team. Being a great athlete isn't that much about given talent, it's about hard work and the correct way of aquiring skills.
