QB is different than a lot of other positions in that the situation a QB finds themself in is so important to the pro they end up being. someone like myles garrett or jamal adams will be fine no matter what kind of defense they're plugged into, but the difference between going to the jets and going to the saints for a QB could be massive.

the way i see it is that their defense was never really that good last year, it was just kept fresh by the fact they were able to control the ball so well with dak and zeke. they're also a team who consistently drafts very well, and this draft has a lot of talent at their weaknesses. considering that they retained pretty much all of their major offensive pieces, unless dak regresses i can't see their offense doing much worse than it did this year, which should lead to a similar number of wins.
