Question towards non-Spanish soccer/football fans that follow foreign leagues: what measures would you like the Spanish league to take so that it would increase the appeal of the product at hand (the Spanish first division) towards your liking? I came up with nine steps, but you can add any other that come to mind that you think the league is in dire need of adressing:

A) Full media coverage in English (game narrations, news, podcasts, post-match interviews, etc)
B) A more balanced distribution of TV rights revenue among the clubs
C) Injection of foreign investors' money in midtable clubs
D) More international players and managers (i.e., not from Spain or South America)
E) Earlier game schedules
F) Higher attendance rates, better fan atmosphere
G) Improvement of the refereeing; less leniency towards 'diving'
H) Introduction of US pro leagues format (draft, salary cap, playoffs, players are traded not bought out)
I) Renovated stadiums

I also made an online poll with the aforementioned nine ideas: http://www.strawpoll.me/12667825

Thank you in advance.

why

A, B, C, E and G, rest are gimmicky (see. Draft system) or will happen either way (More international players/managers, see. >moyes)
>>
not gonna read all that shit

la liga is already the most watched league in the relevant parts of the world, who cares about indians and pakis with their premier league?
>>
>>75017416
Pandering to the American-Canadian audience and its millions of potential viewers which probably deem the current European soccer format as 'foreign' or unappealing.
>>
>>75017434
Which relevant parts of the world predominantly watch La Liga?
>>
>>75017403
I would say even the playing field by getting more sugar daddies to buy clubs but then again look what happened to Valencia.
>>
>>75017443
You're never going to get the North american audience other than Mexico and central america due to language barriers and cultural differences.

The bundesliga is the exception but that's because half our national team players reside there and muh Mia san Mia echte liebe marketing towards Americasuals.

Drafts and salary cap are impossible to implement in soccer tho, and for the playoffs format you have the Copa del Rey

Of course I can't speak for everyone, but for me, it would probably be foreign money being injected into mid-table teams which would make me more eager to watch La Liga.

I enjoy watching Spain's best teams, because the level if skill and raw talent possessed by these players is unlike anywhere in the world. Unfortunately, that talent is not distributed evenly enough for there to be a lovable underdog rising through the ranks, as is evidenced by Real Madrid and Barça's sheer domination of the league every year.

Although it's flawed in many respects, what I like about the Premier League is the chance for a Cinderella story, like Leicester City. Despite the overall quality of English and Welsh football being lower than that in the Bundesliga or La Liga Santander, there's more parity among the teams. The English-language coverage also helps.

I hope I covered enough bases 4 u

>A) Full media coverage in English (game narrations, news, podcasts, post-match interviews, etc)
this pretty much already happens, but its pretty ridiculous how long it them(and Bundesliga and Seriea A) to do it
>B) A more balanced distribution of TV rights revenue among the clubs
irrelevant desu. it might stop the gap from getting bigger but you'd still have 2 teams with 500 million+ a year and the rest
>C) Injection of foreign investors' money in midtable clubs
only real solution
>D) More international players and managers (i.e., not from Spain or South America)
wgaf about the manager? also there are enough foreign players even if you dont count SA
>E) Earlier game schedules
europe doesnt give a fuck, maybe if you want china or something
>F) Higher rate attendances, better fan atmosphere
I mean away fans barely exist in spain and theres not really anything that can be done about the atmosphere. maybe plastic flags lmao
>G) Improvement of the refereeing; less leniency towards 'diving'
spanish refs arent really good but you cant really do anything about it.
>H) Introduction of US pro leagues format (draft, salary cap, playoffs, encouraging trades)
lol
>I) Renovated stadiums
to sit empty? lol
