seriously tho, Premier League is by far the most instantly entertaining to watch and it's already in your language.

most important thing in my experience of picking up American sports is to just pick a team that has some intrinsic appeal to you whether it's club badge, kit colours, whatever, and just following them, and the emotional connection follows surprisingly quickly.

I find sports boring to watch as a neutral, so picking a team was most important for me
