Sauber running Honda is a good decision for them. The Honda will be ok by the end of this season, and should be good in 2018. Sauber will basically reap the rewards of McLaren's pain. There have been so many engineers saying the Honda is brilliant in the bench, and a team like Sauber will let Honda decide how to integrate the engine in the chassis (at least more than McLaren who don't want to compromise "the best chassis on the grid").

I love how fast they are, I really really hope the racing improves though.

There is a fine line that has to be tiptoed as the organizers of a racing series between understanding your racing series EXISTS to be a fan spectacle and being a pure motorsport that needs to please it's own set of principles and maintain an heir of integrity and I think F1 is probably a little off base with the current mix.

For the last couple of years we've seen heaps of cases where drivers of the same team just finish next to each other, and the leaderboard is set in packs of 2 team mates and it really shows right now in the current field the balance is skewed way too far towards the car and not the driver, I know this has been the case in F1 a lot in it's past but I'd have a problem with it then too.

Sometimes a little restriction and removing a bit of the "integrity" and purity of the whole thing to even up the field and make it more exciting for us can be a good thing.

looking at what dorna did with motoGP is a pretty dang good example, they've done a lot to get struggling teams up to speed, they let teams that were new or not doing well use more engines (like suzuki in 2015), or have more fuel (like ducati in 2014/5) etc. because it's known that they'll not challenge the factories, if they do well those sanctions are removed and they recently doubled the amount they pay out to satellite teams.

There is no info as such. Mercedes and Red Bull had to change their suspension layout after Ferrari queried it. If it hasn't affected Mercedes then they just fucked up of their own accord. They might do better in other races, who knows.

No I just don't like how roll hoops stick out and are ugly.

Roll hoops that have an airbox attached/incorporated look better than just a roll hoop on its own.

If it wasn't for safety cars without roll hoops would be the best.

Having and airbox also changes the look of the rest of the car mainly the side pods. If it wasn't for larger airboxes we wouldn't have these sexy tight side pods this year.
