The kid is Bradley Lowry, 5. He has terminal Cancer, and literally has months to live. He's a huge Sunderland fan, and his footballing hero is Defoe, who has been by his side pretty much 24/7 for the past 6 months.

Bradley walks out with Defoe every home game now, and gets a standing ovation from the fans.

I'm glad he got to see his hero in an England shirt.
