This season he's just kinda been...there for Chelsea. Hasn't made any big fuck ups, but hasn't had any spectacular performances either

honestly he's one of the best defenders in the world right now. i know a lot of you gayboys havent seen him play this year but he's amazingly consistent. and who could forget that GOALAZO against liverslip.

For years I used to say he was the biggest liability at a big club. He is absolute trash, but these days well over shadowed by Stones.

I hated David Luiz when he was first with Chelsea and couldn't believe he got sold for 50M.

He's a lot better now, definitely matured. Being in the middle and having two other CB's near him, it takes weight off his shoulders.

Allows him to be more of CDM and play passes.

My infatuation started because of the hair. Then I noticed how he played... gung-ho suicide commando centreback. I like that. And he ain't all that bad as a footballer either actually.
I am still annoyed that Barca didn't sign him some years back. Then the defence would have been:
Alba, Pique, Luiz, Alves
Talk about a defence that likes attacking and going forward. Would have been damn entertaining.
