Yes, its meme ground zero. Girona for example could establish themself as the universe's biggest chokers if they were to miss going up this year aswell (they had a 11p lead i think 2 games ago over 3rd). Last season they "only" lost vs Osasuna in the la liga playiff final. The year before that however.. they just needed a win in the last matchday home to lugo to secure it and that Sporting Gijon didnt win away to Betis. Sporting won away to Betis but Girona was leading 1-0 so they were going up.. until the 90th minute something when Lugo got a cheeky 1-1. Well atleast they could still playoff after that. A good start, 0-3 win away vs Zaragoza in playoff semis 1st leg. However the chokes a 2nd time that season losing 1-4 at home in the 2nd leg.
In 2012-13 too Girona got to a playoff final and lost
