He's the GOAT coach, no question about that. You can't make bricks with straw, however. The Pats success is a combination of things. It isn't as simple as "muh Bill" or "muh Brady". A lot of things came together to, GOAT coach, GOAT QB, excellent ownership, front office, scouting, assistants, even the right injuries to the right players at the right time.

Luck occurs when preparations meet opportunities. While Bill is definitely prepared, the right opportunities still have to happen.

If Bill stayed with Cleveland/Baltimore, he's still got that piece of shit Modell as an owner. He's still got Modell's front office. He's got different players at different times too as drafting and FA would have been different. The Raven's 96-00 defense isn't going to magically appear. Brady isn't going to magically appear because Bill has different picks in different rounds. There are far too many factors outside of his control.

I think he'd be a regular playoff contender and,perhaps, have a Superb Owl appearance.
