NHL defintley does give susperstars wiggle room for dirty play, but its not just Penguins superstars. Should Malkin have been suspended vs winnipeg? Yeah. But in the same game, Pittsburgh lost 2 dman to dirty plays from Winnipegs wheeler and Byfuglian. They didnt get suspended either. The only person anyone called out for the treatment was Malkin though.

Its easy to hate on the Penguins and see only their dirty plays, but Phaneuf and Karlsson were slashing Crosthug all night aftet the Methot slash. Did either of them get a slashing penelty?

The last 2 penguins games has been pretty bad for him, in regards to his dirty plays and whining
It's a mixture of being dirty, getting away with it, while complaining (nearly) every oppurtunity he gets to do it, that makes me dislike him
If the NHL stops treating the superstars with extra care it may just help though desu
