I think Kroos isn't missed that much. Bayern has excellent midfielders (getting older, but still effective).

Memery aside, I really think he's overrated. His passing abilities and precision are outstanding and his biggest but also one and only advantage. He he has a low workrate, is a mediocre defender, very weak in the air and also doesn't score any more himself. Also not very strong mentally, he has the tendency to disappeart in clutch or hard games. There are a lot of better midfielders that more deserve to play at Madrid than him.
