If you were a football fan based in or around Copenhagen these next few months will be good since four of the six teams in the championship playoff are based within a small geographical area in the northeastern part of Sjælland.
The queen lives in Copenhagen most of the year of course, but I don't believe she is a football fan.

In terms of summer events, there are two important ones in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Jazz Festival is on from the 7th to 16th July and it's a great time in the city even if you're not a big jazz fan.
It's one of the biggest festivals of its kind and there's music all over in parks, cafés etc.

There's also Distortion (street festival) from May 31st and the next couple of days.

But the city is perfectly nice outside of those events.
