How about this. The 2nd highest paying professional league is the AHL. The minimum salary in that league is $42,375. Honestly this is a silly issue. The women's college team here is constantly in contention and was won championships before. The newspaper always covers them and I don't know anyone that has been to game. People just don't care about woman's hockey. I watched the NWHL all-star game highlights because it was cute and funny but thats it.
