Anyone watching the final game of the Brier?
There's been some really great curling this year.

i've been keeping tabs
TC is getting kinda reamed at this point though

Yeah if they don't put the pressure on soon it will be over for them. With so many tight matches this year it's too bad there's such a gap in the final.
But Brad really deserves a Brier win so I'm glad they're winning.

Newfie here, Brad better bring this bitch of a Brier home after all the BS Storms we dealt with.
Last night was funny with the outage, if I wasn't without pwer for 15 hours though./
Now we have a game

I experienced those winds too. The wind in Newfoundland can be crazy but yesterday was insane. Like a category 3 hurricane everywhere.

Holy shit that was anus clenching. Good job Newfoundland. Nice of TC to come back and make it a tight game.
It was cool that Newfoundland won but it was pretty lame how suddenly everyone here acted like they loved curling as if they were die hard fans. I tried to watch the end of one of the games and I nearly fell asleep

If it ain't Saskatoon, i won't be watching soon.
Don't want to get banned lads, but I came across a curling themed porn movie the other day.

describe it in enough deep detail for us to find on our own
i expect at least 3 paragraphs and there better be a porn star that looks like gushue
if not just pretend there is for the descriptive synopsis, just use his name for one of them please

the rules are a bit different. they slide each other naked towards the house, but there is a dildo in the middle and it must enter an orifice to score points. some sweeping occurs but I don't think it makes much difference to the outcome.

I can see this as a legitmate sport in 5 years.

I'm not a die hard fan. But I remember watching Gushue win the 2006 Olympics as a kid and it inspiring me to play curling for a few years. It's actually a really fun game to play even if it's slow to watch.

When I was in school during the 2006 Olympics they brought us into the library and made us watch the gold medal game on tv. Afterwards they brought us on a field trip to the curling rink and it was pretty fun to play, but I don't know if it would be as fun in a competitive setting. After they won, a bunch of hockey rinks around Newfoundland started to have curling clubs which was really annoying because the curling lines would be on the ice when playing hockey.
