Strong leadership at both leads to stability within an organization in a league where many teams turn over entire staffs and teams constantly. Knowing you can build a roster around a great QB means you can mask deficiencies elsewhere, and having a great coach means your team will always be on the same page for you to make plays with, maximizing what they do best on both sides of the ball even when you're not on the field

Has it occurred to you that a great coach can lead a great QB to higher peaks and also vice-versa, that success in a sport with so many moving parts can never truly be attributed to one single person. A great coach or QB may be able to win one Super Bowl primarily through their own skill (see Rodgers, Aaron) but to be consistently dominant requires both. If they are two of the greatest of all time, then it stands to reason they will win constantly.
