Warner's issue wasn't his attitude, it was the fact that he could never string together two consecutive solid seasons, he would either get hurt and turn to shit, that's why he always had guys like Brunell, Leinart, and Eli breathing down his neck.

That guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Warner was a consummate teammate for the entirety of his pro career, hell he even went to the Cardinals with the intention of being a backup to Leinart to mentor the guy, he never expected to be a starter again. He's gone on record as saying he should've never started in 2004 and Eli should've started the whole season. He was just happy to be in the NFL.

It's not even how it was, that's just Warner being a good guy and taking the blame to be a good teammate. Rodgers knows how to win
The rest of the Packers know how to lose. Look at every loss Rodgers has had in the playoffs since 2012- they are all due to external forces, mostly a shitty defense. He put the team in a position to win with less than a minute left in both Seattle and Arizona and the fucking defenses fucked both of them up in overtime. And then in Atlanta this year he scored just as many points in regulation as Brady did except Brady's team held them to 3 scores less.

If Rodgers had Belichick and that defense he would be the fucking single finest NFL player in the history of the league, bar none.

Hopefully we can trade back some picks for next year or some shit
There are like 10 corners that look good enough to start but they are all about gone after round 2
The team has high paid great starters and depth across the d line and o line except for DT2, can't really fit any more bodies at te wr or rb with the exception of landing cook/ fournette/McCaffrey
Safety is set and locked down

>>
>>74597867
My point was that Tebow would never have made a good tight end. He was neither big enough nor fast enough. It's why he was steadfast about never changing positions, because as bad as his throwing motion was being a QB was truly his best shot at being an NFL player.

Bill knew it too, which is why he never tried lining up Tebow at TE during the preseason he was on the team. He was just playing 5D chess with the rest of the league.
>"lol hey guys I'm gonna draft Tebow in the 3rd round so you better pick him sooner if you want him, wink wink"
McD took the bait hook line and sinker
>>
>>74597881
did you watch the game? Rodgers set up a TD drive when he was only down 14, the same thing he did the first time he was in Atlanta and fucking Ripkowski dropped the ball. Then the Falcons drove it down their throats. Add to the fact that Mason missed a relatively easy field goal before that and it was certainly not Rodgers fault that they started off so terrible. And when they're down 21 then they have to stop running the ball and the Falcons tooled into their secondary, when Rodgers had hardly any healthy receivers to begin with.

If the Packers had a competent defense they would have won the Super Bowl last year. If they had 2 healthy CBs on the fucking 40-man then they would have won the Super Bowl.
>>

>>
>>74598381
Can't get catches when you're not on the field. Bill was punishing him for complaining to the media about his contract instead of coming to him about it. He never disappeared on the field, he just wasn't being played.
>>
>In his first eight games of 2016, Gilmore allowed 25 catches for 444 receiving yards (17.8 average) and one touchdown, per Pro Football Focus. Patriots fans remember watching Gilmore get burned badly by Chris Hogan for a 53-yard touchdown, and giving up on the play early to yell at his teammates. Gilmore also was beaten by Brian Tyms for a 43-yard touchdown back in 2014.

>But Gilmore improved significantly in the second half of 2016. In his final seven games, Gilmore allowed just 15 catches for 183 yards (12.2 yards per catch).

The thing is that he's a long tall corner who is elite at press man, does that mean BB is changing his secondary discipline?

Literally the sole reason the Raiders are even moving to Vegas is because they're whoring themselves out for a new stadium and Nevada/Clark county was dumb enough to build them one. The Vegas market is also comparatively awful to the Bay, so even fewer fans will be watching them on TV. Why would they spend 2-3 years in a stadium that's even worse than the Oakland Coliseum at making money?

The issue is not work ethic. The issue is that it can be extremely tough to recover mentally from a serious injury particularly injuries to the legs. It sometimes makes guys timid, afraid of being hurt again or even plant on the previously injured leg or put too much weight on it. Carson Palmer took ten years to look as good as he did in 2005 again, although his injury was worse, that's not so much the issue.

Breaking your leg fucking hurts, man. I don't care how tough you are. It's tough to get over and re-train your brain to feel okay with walking on it, much less playing an insanely physical sport at the highest level.

It's the offseason you autist. More than half the league is still smoking weed during this part of the year for Christ's sake. They don't have to be in game shape for months.

>TO
>Maclin
>DJax
Not exactly dogshit. Plus he had a great receiving target in Westbrook.
>>
>>74599403
The dream team moniker only applies if we overpay for a shitty cb in free agency.
Like if we gave aj boye the contract the jags did.
We signed a proven top 5 wr, totally different scenario.
>>
New thread where?
>>
>>74599500
1) are you for real implying weed makes you less physically fit my dude
2) you have to be in shape all the time if you play for the NFL because everyone else is and you don't want to have to play catchup when the season rolls around, you'll wash out pretty quick. i don't think you fully appreciate the amount of dedication it takes to play at an NFL level. it's literally your life, and if it isn't, you wind up like Justin Blackmon or Johnny Manziel.
>>

>Jeffery
>top 5
Really faggot?

Julio
Brown
Beckham
Evans
Green
>>
Jimmy and the #32 pick has been traded to the browns for their #1 pick and 2 2nd round picks in 2018 and Jamie Collins
>>
>>74599507
Hence why I said majority aka 1999-2008 with the exception of a year
>>
>>74599528
>AJ Green is a better WR than Jeffrey
In what world? Look past your hatred for the eagles, my man
>>
>>74599529
>Browns trading back Jamie Collins
>Pats trading for Collins again
That's where you lost me
>>
>>74599529
This means the patriots keep hightower and collins and butler is gone
>>
>>74599507
>you in charge of reading comprehension
McNabb barely had maclin and desean together for his last season, which is what that dude said, that when he did have talent, he choked.
>>
>>74599529
>Patriots trade Collins so they wouldn't have to pay him
>Browns pay him MONSTER money
>Pats trade for his contract
That doesn't make any sense whatsoever and you know it
>>
>>74599537
So basically every year?

>get BTFO
>Sign a bunch of FA
>haahaha what now NFC East? Its the Eagles year
>Get BTFO
>repeat ad infinitum
>>
>>74599545
That's what I'm hearing on the radio

Jimmy and 32nd pick for a 1st, 2 2nds and Collins
>>
>>74599563
Can we all just agree that the Giants are shit???
>>
>>74599556
His contract is less than what hightower is asking probably

And he was the more talented between the two, certainly more suited for a hybrid front. Donte isn't a fast guy.
>>
>>74599563
Right because surely Cowcucks fans have never massively overrated the team before the season began before
>>
>>74599566
I'll wait for a reputable source to put out the news becase I doubt Tommy from Northampton has any inside sources

Belichick doesn't want to put up with Collins's freestyling which is why he traded him away to begin with, there's zero chance he reverses course
>>
>>74599538
In every world. Since 2012 (Jeffery's first year):

Jeffery: 304 catches 4549 yards 26 TDs
Green: 416 cathces 6078 yards 42 TDs

They're not even in the same galaxy holy fuck
>>
>Nobody of note has any information whatsoever besides Jimmy's IG
>"Dude they're getting the #1 pick lol trust me"
>>
>>74599592
It might not be true but it was the only details I've heard so far

Patriots might have gotten another player than Collins
>>
Cardinals 13th Overall and Larry to Patriots for Jimmy G
>>
>>74599563
It's not like any other team in the nfc east has room to talk shit
Literally, only the giants have been the most relevant team out of that division of the last 20 years because of le autist man magic
Cowboys used to be the 8-8ers, but now they're moving on up to the one and doners
Redskins have been browns tier ever since dan snyder bought the team

My hatred Rankings

***POWER GAP***

>3. Steelers
>4. Eagles

***POWER GAP***

>>
>>74599603
>there's zero chance he reverses course

Not if hightower walks

This is why people speculated Butler being traded for Cooks.
>>
>>74599637
Don't see it happening 2bh. Larry agreed not to retire because he wants to keep playing in Arizona, would be a pretty big betrayal for the Cardinals to just trade him after that. I bet he'd retire on the spot.
>>
>>74599651
Isn't Hightower generally considered better than Collins? Even if not by much.
>>
>>74599658
Yes because he's a great leader/captain and not a freelancing nigger, in terms of pure football skill Collins is perhaps better but you're also comparing a MLB to a 3-4 OLB
>>
>>74599642
>hating the seahawks more than the iggkes
>power gap in between

I always figured the majority of cowboy fans barely started watching football in 2012
>>
>>74599658
They're both elite but Jamie Collins athleticism is missed, Belichick had him blocking fieldgoals over the line and blitzing up the middle constantly.

Hightower is a Bowman type run stopper, Collins was in coverage or blitzing QBs but in 2014 he played everywhere on the line. Between them hes more talented.
>>
>>74599690
Eagles haven't been serious rivals in years and I have tons of bandwagoning friends in my social circle that are Seahawks fans.

>TL;DR Seahawk fans are more annoying than Eagles fans
>>
>>74599681
this guy gets it. Collins is super talented but Hightower is more of a team player so he fits Belichick's style more. Belichick HATES when guys go into business for themselves.
>>
>>74599681
>not a freelancing nigger

Collins wasn't wrong to freelance, the patriots pass rush was putrid and their DC only rushed 3 at a time most plays.

Collins speed would've stopped the falcons from running on them in the Superbowl.

>In recent years

You mean when you lost the NFC East in 2013 in week 17, were completely irrelevant in 2015, and only won the first game in 2016 because of rookie head coach play calling?
>>
>>74599731
>Collins wasn't wrong to freelance
Every time he did it it costs the Pats defense: see the Bills @Foxboro game where he went against the play call on the second play of the game and the Bills got 28 yards. He'd been doing it for weeks and Bill was finally fed up with his shit.
>>
>>74599756
He also got an interception on a freebie play but thats conviently ignored by pats fans

Collins is the superior player, Hightower is the better teammate.

Any Cowboy fan older than 25 properly despises every motherfucking NFCE team, and they us, which is right, good, and proper.

Eagles are the worst, though. We all can agree on that.
>>
>>74599740
>lost the NFC East in 2013 in week 17

You mean the Game Romo was injured in?

>were completely irrelevant in 2015

Romo injured again and our backups were shit

> only won the first game in 2016 because of rookie head coach play calling?
>he brags about winning a meaningless game

Oh my god its almost like we had our backups playing because it was the last game of the season and we clinched the 1st seed

Kill yourself

Giants can be nuked to oblivion

Jimmy G just so happening to not be up at 4 does not mean there weren't plenty of other NFL players up.

have you guys really convinced yourself that brady is not a system babby?
