As someone who never watches ESPN, I don't really criticize them because I know it is basically in a no-win situation

National sports networks are useless now. ESPN, Fox Sports 1, NBC Sports Network, etc. With cord cutting, they lose a ton of income they need to purchase and air live sports, but without live sports to air, they would be completely useless.

It doesn't matter if ESPN filled their show with smart people instead of stupid people, still no one would watch. People pretend like "well dude if they just aired sports highlights we would watch"... no you wouldn't, you would still just get them online

Eventually, hopefully, all these networks will go under and leagues will just be broadcast on streaming packages. Like, have NFL sunday ticket, NBA league pass, NHL center ice, soccer bullshit, whatever have every game
