i love midwesterners. they are the backbone of our country. i spent a lot of time in the upper great lakes region and, contrary to stereotypes, they are hardworking, well educated, self-respecting and god-fearing. very well-rounded people. god-tier hunters and outdoorsmen, farms that feed the planet, yet very humble.
they view coastal types as effeminate know-it-alls who can't even change a tire. don't associate deep-south stereotypes with midwesterners (or texans).
it's a cliche, but they truly are what keep america going day-to-day.
