As a Falcons fan, I can easily say Super Bowl 51.

For the Raiders it's the tuck rule. More recently, the entire 2011 season. Even more recently, Derek Carr's injury.

And that time Cabañas fucked us up in Libertadores was pretty bad too
The most sickening 'defeat' for Man Utd in recent times was actually a win. 3-2 versus Bayern at Old Trafford in the CL quarter finals in 2010. Bayern progressed on away goals. It was so hard to take because (a) Man Utd went 3-0 up in the first 40 minutes only to blow it, (b) the CL was there for the taking for Man Utd that season, (c) the entire season fell apart during that period with a horrible injury to Rooney that changed him forever as a player, and (d) this cunt's, pic related, cheeky cunt face when he scored the decisive goal.

And that defeat actually changed brazilian culture for worse. Even when it became obvious that brazilian football culture needed to change to catch up to the rest of the world, nothing actually changed. People just meme about Sami Khedira dribbling in the face of Julio Cesar and pretend there's nothing to be learned about that WC, even with some stadiums left to rot and corruption investigations. Everything just went to hell after that game and no one seems to care

Also game 2 of the 93 stanley cup. Kings had a 2 goal lead with a few minutes left and got called for a penalty. Montreal, a french canadian team, asked the refs for help and were rewarded with a 5 on 3. They proceeded to tie the game up amd won in overtime. Kings would have been up 2-0 on the series but the momentum completely shifted and the kings lost 4-1. The solace i get from this is that no team from canada has ever won the cup since then, almost as if montreal jinxed them or disrepected lord stanley or something.
No team from canada will ever win the cup again until all those players from monteal names are scratched off the cup.

because it's basically impossible to build a new basketball arena in Seattle with the current political climate.
It was the main problem then, and its the main problem now.
The loss was soo bad that Conte changed to 3-4-3 and instantly changed the entire season. COME ON YOU BLUES
How has nobody mentioned this? No English people awake?

can I get a quick rundown on this?
the Heatles were just too good
and injuries happen, even though I still want to take a tire iron to Beverley's knee
but between the NBA refusing to do anything about the 8 flagrant fouls that Draymond committed and the absolute screwjob that was the 1st quarter of Game 6 (rewatch it, the refs went full out to make sure OKC didn't jump out to the giant lead that their play merited) this series was extremely painful and even more so after the snake slithered away.
>Cowboys
2007 and 2016 Division losses at home. This past season, they had a path that would have never taken them out of Texas.
>Rangers
2010 WS was a bummer. 2011 WS still stings and may still sting even after they win one.
>Mavericks
2006 Finals. First shot, downed in 6. Later remedied by ringless LeBron memes after the 2011 Finals.
>Stars
Game 7 of the West semis against the Blues. A season where they racked up 109 points and the West 1 seed and I figured they were a threat to get to the conference finals, at least.
Now, the team sucks, they're 6 points adrift of a playoff spot, the Benn brothers were broken up, Eaves was shipped off...
>Arsenal
Every loss is an equally painful reminder they struggle against big teams in big games and can't handle the pressure of Europe or an EPL title race. But they'll swoop in at the end for that one little redemptive consistency that would satisfy almost any other fanbase in the world (St. Totteringham's Day is still happening, r-right!?)
>Baylor Football
2014 vs West Virginia was the one reason in their control they missed a Playoff spot. This is only regarding a game--this doesn't count the massive loss of respect after the rape scandal came to light.
>Baylor men's basketball
2015 NCAA Tournament vs Georgia State. They let up a 13-0 run at the end with under 3 minutes to play. Maybe they should have been included on the Universal Choking Sign.

Falcons are a small team with little media attention, but the following games that I can recall being awful
>losing to the cowboys in 1980
>getting btfo by the skins in 91
>the 1998 super bowl
>the game where jamal blew out his knee and 99 was pretty much guaranteed a wash
>starting 2005 6-2 and going 2-6 down the stretch, ending with a 44-11 loss at home
>starting 2006 5-2, including wins over the steelers and bengals where vick looked like he finally turned the corner, only to lose to the browns at home and just completely implode down the stretch
>finally getting eliminated from postseason contention in 2006 by losing at home 10-3 to CHRIS WEINKE
>2007. All of it. No team should have to go through that shit.
>2008 playoff loss to arizona. if it wasn't for the fucking turner fumble we could have won, and then beat an imploding carolina team the next week and host the nfc title game against philly just fuck up my shit senpai
>2010 playoff loss to Green Bay. To this day I still haven't watched the 2010 nfc championship game and I didn't watch that super bowl until like 4 years later because it hurt so much.
>2012 losing at home to the 49ers in the nfc title game the way it happened. We were completely btfo'ing them at the half but then Mike Smith went full fucking derp mode and the defense couldn't hang on
>2014 season finale. We were complete garbage that year so I'm not really surprised it happened but at least it got Mike Smith fired.
>2015 losing streak after starting 5-0. I knew this team was still bad despite winning games, but I didn't think they'd implode like this.
>2016 super bowl. I don't think I can ever rewatch any film from this game ever again without throwing up.

As a Giants fan, I'd say my personal low point for them, at least in my lifetime, was the 1989 World Series loss. We just had an Earthquake too... my 7 year old heart was broken.
Our recent World Series wins, however, have slowly been making up for our losses. I feel that 2010 and 2012 made up for the 2002 loss, but the 2014 win made up for the 1989 loss. Seeing them give the Royals hell and the joy I got from hearing Sandoval's last catch on the radio made it all better.
So... AHAHAH YOU SUCK ROYALS Sure you won the next year, but you didn't win 2014. AHAHAHA

Not even a year ago.
Not only it meant missing the promotion playoffs against a midtable team in the most ridicolous way possible.
It meant facing the harsh reality that Real Zaragoza is now a shitty irrelevant second division team.
It meant that glorious cup wins were a thing of the past, that playing in Europe is nothing but fantasy, that relevant players would never look at Zaragoza as a team that would be nice to play for.
The dream is dead.

Ottawa Senators fan here.
2003: Losing in the last 2.5 minutes of game 7, because Redden messed up a rouitne defensive coverage. Sens would have destoryed the Ducks in the finals.
2006: Sens have amazing team, but lose in second round due to Hasek getting injured at the fucking Olympics.
2007: Finally make it to Finals, lose to Anaheim.
I just want to see them win it once before I die.
This was absolutely brutal. The first time a #1 seed lost to an #8. '94 Nuggets winning on the Sonics floor. The only thing that kept from kicking the TV was the thought of how angry my Dad would be if I did so.
