Dude has most 30 point games by a freshmen at UK.
Elite company
well of all of the other great freshman that have played for UK, which ones have had a weak supporting cast?

Like Beasley and Morrison right? Neck yourself
He's a 6'3 SG. You gotta pair him with the Giannis or something or else he'll get devoured by the size of NBA wings.
The level of parity we see in college basketball this year among the top 16 teams is absurd. Any team ranked above 20 has a legit shot to pull a Natty.
Monk has separated himself by taking over games when the Cats need him and winning games, the mark of a true champion.

Hardin invalidates your argument.
Size works, separation works better,

Harden is a 6'5 PG tho.

Talking about the ability to change speeds senpai

Harden has more offensive tools that he can use like passing and ball handling. Monk is basically a mini-Durant, he gets buckets, but without the size it's going to be tough for him to contribute in other ways. He's not a good defender, he doesn't rebound, not a primary ball handler, he can't really run the offense. He's gonna have to learn to do at least one of those things to become a good NBA player.

Most well thought out argument yet, give this anon applause.
He came from virtually no system and in our system he is a volume shooter and as such those stats would not be his strong point. Look for him to go upwards of 20 ppg tourney time. I agree he has not demonstrated proficiency in those areas yet but the kid is 18. Get him in a system where they will develops him and who knows? If any D keys on him and he can move the ball in the league his assist numbers will skyrocket. Also as a guard why are we so worried about his boards?
