Considering the Yankees pretty much never missed the playoffs during Jeter's entire career, and baseball playoffs are far more difficult to get in to than basketball, I'll say Jeter.

Jeter also has more hits for the most storied franchise in sports than any other Yankee who ever played. Kobe owns no such Laker records.

Jeter always handled his position as SS and captain with class and dignity. Former players don't come out to complain about how awful it was working with Jeter.

Jeter was great in the postseason, Kobe, less so.

Kobe had the benefit of playing for potentially the best head coach of all time. Jeter played for a very good hall of fame coach but not the equivalent of Phil Jackson.
