for thos who dont know: this guy used to be a referee like a decade ago and once he retired he admitted he was a madrid fan in general, his superiors knew this so he wasnt allowed to referee real or atletico matches. he did ref barca games though, but there werent any incidents. also, Real tried to hire him as he was approaching retirement for a PR role but as far as i know they didnt when some other clubs bitched about it.
