Is this /bundes/?
>>
>>74379933
actually they dont because their is a UEFA rule that only one team per headsponsor can participate in Euroleague/Championsleague.

And in this specific case that honor goes to RB Salzburg because they are gonna finish higher in their respective league (probably gonna win it and Leipzig getting 2nd at most). So they wont play even if they get second.
>>
>>74380280

True post but the RB syndicate will regret this decision. Leipzig has much higher potential. Salzburg is a team that will have trouble getting past group stage.Put on top of that that nobody gives a shit about Austrian league.

Bayern has too much money. The Bundesliga should distribute the TV money more evenly and start negotiating kit supplier deals collectively. Then UEFA should distribute the CL money more fairly to reduce the power of Bayern ever further.

>tfw socialism is often frowned upon and even outright detested in America
Your idea makes sense
>>
>>74381734
TV money is distributed very evenly, Bayern's money comes from sponsorships, merchandising and prize pools.
>>
>>74381757
I find it hilarious how scared Americans are of socialism, yet your flagship sports league - the NFL, is socialistic as fuck and people have zero issues with it.
>>
>>74381776
>TV money is distributed very evenly
That's why I said more evenly. Ratio from top to bottom is 1.5:1 in England, in Germany it's 2:1.

>sponsorships
That's why I said kit deals should be negotiated collectively.

>prize pools
What do you mean? From going very far in the CL, you mean?
>>
>>74381757

the NFL follows a similar model

>>74381820

That's because we can discern between sport/entertainment and greater things like socioeconomy

while observing the USSR from afar may have been entertaining it wasn't anything we wanted to apply to our own lives
>>
>>74381776
not evenly enough
bayern has twice the revenue of dortmund and fifeteen times that of darmstadt
they will win the league for the next ten years, easy
>>
>>74381910
>bayern has twice the revenue of dortmund and fifeteen times that of darmstadt
But not because of TV money.
>>
>>74381947
it could be partially fixed with tv money

You know you want this Germany.
>>
they used to say bundesliga is won by Bayern and rest of German teams taking turns to steal Bayern titles.

now not even that..
>>
>>74380280
what kind of fucking bullshit is this? I've seen like 10 allahu akcbar airlines teams in the cl for the last 10 years, what is different now?
>>
>>74381734
actually Bundesliga distributes the TV money more evenly than EPL. Bayern got rich due to decades of success and good managing
>>
>>74382155
Actually, you're wrong. The last I saw was that the ratio from top to bottom was 1.5:1 in England and 2:1 in Germany. The 20th place team in the PL will get £100m this season and the 1st place team will get £150m; how will it be in the Bundesliga?
>>
>>74382155
>good managing
they got rich because they used every avenue of commercialization, even semi legal ones, before the others and then abused their monopoly position at the top of german football to keep all the other clubs down
if football was a normal industry this would be a case for the courts
good managment is what bremen, bmg, dortmund, schalke had to do to keep up
>>
>>74382247
>2:1 in Germany
That's not true. 65% are shared evenly by every club, the rest depends of tv time. But because german Sportschau shows all matches, it doesn't differ that much. It may be 1:1.2 or somethinjg like that. However there is a new agreement coming
>>
>>74382126
Red Bull actually owns/has a stake in both clubs. Sponsorship is very different than ownership.
>>
>>74381820
How do you not see the obvious benefits of parity in something like sports? You Yurofags would rather have 4 teams be relevant for a decade and everyone else be garbage just for the sake of it
>>
>>74382264
Truth is, Bayern was already managed as a firm in the 70s, whan football wasn't that profesional, they always were pioneering new ways of making money. But that's not illegal, that just clever. They also always invested their money wisely and never made debts

>>74382333
I found this somewhere. I don't speak German but I think it means you're wrong. It looks like I was wrong too. It's only the domestic rights which are 2:1. Altogether it is more like 3.5:1.
>>
>>74382440
wouldn't you say they have a monopolisitc market position?
that is illegal
>>
>>74382406
You guys are great but I think your model leads to a closed shop system. You have to decide which teams you are going to share the money out to and below that there is a huge gap. If you look at the difference between the PL and the Championship, you can see that huge jump up/down. If TV rights were negotiated collectively, there would be a gradual incline instead of a jump. So, I think your socialistic system is quite at odds with our relegation/promotion system.
>>
>>74382470
EPL shares 50% evenly and the rest based on various performance-related standings
Bundesliga shares 65% evenly and the rest based on league positions in the last 5 years.

Since the clubs at the bottom tend to be recently promoted teams, you get this rather sharp decline at the end, but it's only for those few outliers at the very bottom. If you look at the national column in your image you can see the decline is pretty small except when you get to those bottom teams.
>>
>>74382583
>and the rest based on league positions in the last 5 years
Ah, ok, I thought it was tv time. Still 65% are shared evenly, which is more than other leagues do
>>
>>74382470
>It's only the domestic rights which are 2:1. Altogether it is more like 3.5:1.
of course we're not talking about the CL/EL money
>>
>>74382583
Bayern got twice as much as as the 9th place team, which is the middle. The scale between 1st and 10th in the PL this season will be 146/118=1.24.
>>
>>74382780
No, i'm talking about the Bundesliga rights sold domestically.
>>
>>74382838
International means here money from CL and EL. You can see Hannover or Frankfurt, who played the EL the seasons before getting for example
>>
>>74382892
>getting more
>>
>>74382892
So all those clubs played in Europe? The bigger clubs get way more from foreign rights than the smaller clubs do.
>>
To be fair Ancelotti has always been the kind of guy who wins CL but doesn't win League.

Would Bayern fans prefer to win CL and lose title or win title and lose CL if winning both dont happen?
>>
>>74382984
No, I think you're right, VfB didn't play in Europe
>>
>>74380280
it's good but this is fucking bullshit desu
>>
>>74383166
>implying Red Bull won't find a way

Probably gonna found some new meme company just for that ot something.
Their army of lawyers will figure something out, don't worry
>>
How much do clubs in the 2nd tier of German football get from TV rights? They negotiate their TV deal with the Bundesliga, don't they?
>>
>>74383166
>this is fucking bullshit
You don't think the same people owning two different clubs, that could face each other in competition, is a serious conflict of interests?
>>
>>74383262
20% from the domestic rights
not sure how much they get from the foreign rights
>>
>>74383028
I think Bayern's fans will be shocked if the team chokes away the league, but it shouldn't matter if they win the CL.

the league basically is Bayernwinslol, and people usually value more CL than leagues anyways (except the premier, for some reason)
>>
>>74381820
I find it hilarious how much yuros hate capitalism but find no issues with it in sports.
>>
>>74382817
wow, so actually every EPL team gets more than Bayern.
>>
>>74383786
I like capatalism
>>
>>74383786
i like capitalism
>>
>>74380280

Does RedBull have a say in which team goes into European Competition? Because obviously they will go with RasenBallsport
>>
>>74383786
I love capitalism
>>
>>74381388
I expect them to pull something out the get this rule lifted afterall I cant remember a single time where it was enforced. but the point stands that it exists.

>>74382126
because they actually own the club and are not only investors

>>74385533
I think it is a rule by UEFA that the team that places higher in their domestic league goes. but I am not sure about that one.
>>
>>74381820
>le american sports are socialist meme
NFL is one of the pinnacles of capitalism. The team owners simply understand that their main competition is not between themselves but between NFL as a whole and other sports leagues or forms of entertainment. By agreeing to share profits and give weaker teams preferential draft position they are creating a product that's more widely accessible and keeps as many potential customers interested as possible.
>>
>>74382817
really makes you think
>>
>>74380280
>european sports rules
Jesus, this is one of the worst things I've ever heard
>you can't make the champions league because of your sponsor
What the FUCK?
>>
>>74386157
woah, so the seemingly socialist model is actually capitalism on steroids? america really is the ultimate jew nation
>>
Bayern are winning by a lower margin than Chelsea
