This is a post.

There's some interesting concepts but nothing that really stands out in the way the Mercedes had with their overall concept. Wing doesn't feature much outwash suggesting that they're putting more air over the wheel and to the inside instead of around the outside like the Mercedes. Nose has interesting flow conditioners back from the front wing mount which gives it a very distinctive look. Rear wing mount is again interesting. But other than that it's a pretty standard layout without any surprises or stand out details (that I've spotted so far anyway).

It just looks cheap. That livery is absolutely disgusting - like someone said, it looks like a quickly made livery from an unlicensed video game.

Then there is the godawful sharkfin, and the noserings I have been complaining about, plus this car seems EXTREMELY long even compared to the other cars. The floor is very underdeveloped and the aero elements near the sidepod ugly. The sidepod itself is small as fuck and so is the intake above the driver's head.

Anyone else impressed with Ferrari? You should take a closer look at their aero stuff. It's a bit minimal compared to Mercedes but there is some REALLY interesting shit going on. They have this cheeky aero splitting in the sidepod with clean air from a couple of winglets on the bridge, and a pretty complicated bargeboard if you look at it from the top. Different approach to Mercedes and I'm happy to see that.

When people are talking about aero in this thread do you guys actually understand what you're talking about? Yeah, I understand the mechanics of downforce and I see the function of things and like directing airflow onto the brakes to cool them, but can you guys actually tell which car has the best aero by looking at it?

Like if we were to remove the liveries from the f1 cars you could all point to one and say "this one is the best", because some of you guys sound like that, or are guys blowing smoke up my arse or you guys are secretly adrian newey? Or am I just not intelligent enough to know what all this stuff means from the aerodynamics of a car just by looking at it.

Or am I being memed.
