They're different fighters though. The gamble with Joshua is that his hand speed and general athleticism will negate his weak points and he can learn on the job. I think he'll get a late KO against a 41 year old, in boxing the simplest answer is usually right.

Canelo did 600k buys against Khan 300k against Liam Smith who wasn't known to the American audience and seen as a joke fight. His standing has weakened but it will weaken more if he loses to Golovkin. Boxing is ripe for a new star.

The Flanagan-Crolla situation is simple, Hearn will only accept it on his terms and likewise for Frank. Hearn's stable is very top heavy. If you go actually browse his full roster on his website it's really not all that great. Frank has a clear advantage when it comes to British level fighters, who are often the backbone of a good event. Hearn is trying to dip his toes into that area now that his main guys are getting too expensive for regular Saturday night shows but he's still having trouble finding a balance between building up fighters and putting on compelling match-ups. Warren's card last night shows what a master he is when it comes to that

I do think it will go the distance though, Vargas knockout record is puffed up from fighting bums in Mexico and Gavin is feather fisted.
