I think it's fair to say that right now is the best the raptors have been in basically their entire history. They've upgraded over their ECF roster last year, and they've got PPat, Ibaka, and Lowry going into FA.

Neither will hit their potential unless they're full time 5's desu. Davis is better as a 4. I think towns might have a higher ceiling because I just can't see davis holding up as a 5 for 82 games. It's not an easy choice. Davis as a 4 or 5 is elite as shit offensively, but as a 5 he can make a bad defense good, as seen by NO once they started using him there. Towns is almost the opposite, trash on defense regardless, but his offensive gifts can't get fully utilized if he's sharing the floor with another big man, which is why he needs to be a 5.
