The PDC convoy has come to Yorkshire as Leeds becomes the third stop on the Betway Premier League tour with three compatriot clashes.
Starting tonight's affairs is the Worlds semi-final repeat and an all-Scottish match with Gary Anderson and Peter Wright. Clownman secured top spot in the UK Open Order of Merit by winning the final qualifier on Sunday but will have to seriously improve on last week's atrocious showing against Michael van Gerwen if he is to beat Gando who had very little trouble in defeating Jelle Klaasen.
The all-English clash sees ferry loving fat man Adrian Lewis against bipolar James Wade. Snackpot was typically inconsistent but it was more than enough to thrash terrible Dave Chisnall while the Machine rescued a 6-6 draw against the Stokie's mentor; with Wadey having won their last meeting in the Champions League in September, revenge will surely be on Aidey's menu (along with numerous Just Eat orders).
El Dartico follows as the aforementioned mentor Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld clash for the first time since that glorious Worlds quarter final that saw Pheel get Taylored with an 86 on the red button by Barney. Taylel's victory in the 2016 play-off phase ended a run of six failures to beat RVB in the PL, but here's hoping Ray does him in again.
The Dutch derby sees the bitterest of rivalries resume with MVG and Paedo Suarez. Fresh off becoming just the second player to hit 2 9 darters in a match in the UK Open qualifiers, you can be assured the autistic one will want to kill the guy that sent penis photos to his family friend. Watch out for Sky completely ignoring this genuine #NEEDLE because they are pussies.
Closing the evening are two men in serious trouble as Chizzy plays Kim Huybrechts; dim Dave has won just 5 legs so far in two dismal performances while the Belgian has repeatedly bottled it and picked up just one point. Whoever loses is probably relegated already.
Coverage starts from 7:00pm UK time on Sky Sports 1.

In ranking major news, the UK Open field was confirmed following Sunday's final qualifier: http://www.pdc.tv/news/article/11tmvg0ep9wx21bse1k22rnia3/title/coral-uk-open-field-confirmed
The most notable omission besides Taylor is Mensur Suljovic, who had to miss all six qualifiers as his pregnant wife has fallen ill (which makes his decision to tell Uncle Barry to fuck off with his PL bullshit even more justified). Get well soon, Mrs. Suljovic.
Some of the more notable amateur qualifiers include 2004's Alex Roy, who continues his streak of having appeared in every single UK Open, and three men who graced Lakeside this year: choking stutterer Paul Hogan, Barnsley's answer to David Brent - Brian "Doggy" Dawson - and Welsh jobber Dean Reynolds, who turned down the offer of a PDC Tour Card after topping the 2016 Development Tour Order of Merit to chase valuable ranking points around the shitholes of Eastern Europe. Based on how Reynolds choked at Lakeside against Pip Blackwell, it's no surprise he chickened out of competing in the PDC.
And we're on now.

He has been really poor in recent months.
I can see him slipping down the rankings soon enough.
>>74251020
Feels like he's been poor far longer than that but then again he has been in the Worlds' final last year. I don't really know why he's dropped that much, he has the natural talent.

Constantly loses concentration and has no commitment to the circuit (thanks Deller).

Too little Dana
And that D8 closes a night of pretty impressive action.
The match of the night was the opener as Peter Wright produced his best TV performance in ages to send Gary Anderson packing. After missing three darts for the opener, Clown then smacked in 4 100+ finishes - a 121 break sandwiched by two 116s and then a big 120 - as Gando was unable to break back despite hitting a 110 of his own. Wright averaged 109 and it's this sort of average he needs to maintain.
Adrian Lewis's downfall continued as he won 4 legs and then promptly imploded against James Wade. A tight first 7 legs, the only big point being Wadey's 121 on the bull to make it 3-3, then completely went away from the Fat Man as the Machine went manic, taking the next 3 legs in 34 darts and sunk the ferry. Lewis averaged 88, 10 points less than Wade, which is sad.
El Dartico was as expected: a struggle between Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld that ended in a Groper win followed by an embarrassing joint interview. The match didn't fire into life until Taylel hit a crucial 85 after Barney missed the bull to break for a 4-3 lead and only lost one more leg (a match saving 107 nevertheless) while hitting a 120 in the process.
Michael van Gerwen was pushed by Jelle Klaasen early doors but held on for another win. Paedo Suarez turned 0-2 to 3-2, a nifty DD19 94 starting it, but won just one more leg as a combination of fired up autism and Nonce's own shitty terrible setup shots saw MVG blitz him again, finishing on a 94 of his own.
Dave Chisnall's terrible start finally came to an end as he disposed of Kim Huybrechts with relative ease, a 141 securing his first point of the season and then an eventual win. Kimmy hit a 110 early on but folded spectacularly against the dim one.
The league goes rainbow-coloured next week in Brighton:
>Dave Chisnall v Jelle Klaasen
>Michael van Gerwen v Adrian Lewis
>Gary Anderson v James Wade
>Phil Taylor v Kim Huybrechts
>Raymond van Barneveld v Peter Wright
See you then.
