It could just be a spring training warmup delivery, but he has an extra hop now. Slab, one hop, toe drag, front foot lands, then throw.

Other people have had long leg strides that brought their foot away from the rubber before release, but the big key that MLB holds is keeping the trail foot in contact with the ground the whole time after it comes off the slab until the throw is completed.

MLB needs to add in a rule/comment clarifying what "natural movement" is. It's way too open to interpretation.

Medlen probably can't even make the barves bullpen at this point. Barves bullpen is actually going to be mad underrated. it might take them some time to sort out who is good and who is shit but by the end of the year they will have a top-10 bullpen and people won't even realize it. Can't wait for the (unfair) comparisons of AJ Minter to Andrew Miller. saw that nigga in jacksonville he's got a fastball and slider that are borderline plus-plus pitches and he's probably got average command/control to go along with them. He'd be considered the best reliever prospect in the minors if there weren't legitimate durability concerns. Getting TJS as basically a pure reliever in college is a huge red flag.
