No coach in the world dreams of signing Digne, Alcacer or Andre Gomes. And if you are the coach of Barcelona you sure as fuck have higher signing expectations than that.

So the better question was how much money was left at the disposal of Luis Enrique for signing players, after paying the never ending salary increases of Messi and Neymar.

You can put whoever you want in charge of coaching Barcelona, and the results will inevitably be modeled by the reality of a midfield and defense filled, with the proverbial exceptions, with old hags past their prime and lackluster players. And no tactics can fix that. I mean, which club would even be interested in signing Sergi Roberto, Alba, Mascherano,Umtiti, Iniesta, Arda, Andre Gomes, etc???

Certainly not a top club.

PSG has been too much praised for beating an actually (except for Barsa's attacking trio) inferior squad in every other line and aspect of the game, and with almost no decent bench roster whatsoever.

His job was consistency and further improvement, Barca almost slipped in the league last season and looked like shit in CL against Atletico, this season they got exposed hard by trash like City, dropped out of CL faster than Arsenil and are no way close to winning the league.
