Give Team New Zealand a billionaire to back them and we'll beat you every time. Do you even have any Americans on the 'American' team?
What are the chances the Americans will copy us?
Answer: 100%
They copied our foiling boat last time too.

Sort of. The Americans had more money and better technology. There were also a lot of cancelled races when we had the jump on Oracle at the line. America also cheated and were lucky to not be disqualified. The American boat didn't have any American sailors either.

Not really - the part you're referring to was developed by Boeing, and was a fixed loop feedback control system, and was always going to win the cup once it made it onto the boat.
They didn't bitch and moan about low wind - it was just a case of the race organisers not shortening the course when there is a light airs race, as is the case for literally every other windward-leeward yacht racing on the planet, so of course they weren't going to finish a full length course in that sort of time. Was the same for every other team out there though.
Both teams we entitled to a lay day, the way we fucked up was having that dopey cunt Dalton on the boat for a key race which we lost, and then him taking a rest day in order for key sponsors to arrive early, as we didn't think we'd be up 8-0 at that point in time (remember that Oracle had to come from -2, not 0).
I say "we" because I was over there and my boss was a key sponsor.
