it took Toyota awhile to investigate what happened. iirc some kind of turbo linkage/cooling line failed. so they have to completely redesign the car so it doesn't happen again.

Ukyo's puncture in the GT-One Nakajima was leading and had electrical problems after 13hrs. That's twice now the car has failed while Nakajima was driving. I blame him for his driving style causing the failure. I'm sure there was something he could have done differently to prevent the car from breaking.
