>tfw best division in football
feels good man

You've had a free ride to the playoffs for a couple of seasons, not much to complain about.
You just better hope the Titans screw up their draft or free agency, otherwise there's going to be a good fight for the top of the division this year.
If you Texans pick up Cutler or Romo no one in your division is going to touch you this season and you should be able to give the Pats a better fight than the Steelers as long as everyone is healthy.

That's a fantastic joke.
>pick up cutler or romo
AHAHAHAHAH, trying to sabotage the Lesser Cowshts before the season even starts
>>74137706
>>74137718
Bears are picking up Romo to start while they try to find a long-term solution at QB.
>>74137950
>replace your injury prone starter with an even more heavily injury prone player
They may as well start scouting flag football games at that rate

>Cutler or Romo
fucking lel

Good QBs are hard to come by and only 1/3 of the teams in the NFL have one.
There are two experienced, proven, good QBs available in free agency/via trade this season. Romo and Cutler aren't top 5, but they could be top 10 in 2017 with one of their better seasons.
Houston has everything else they need. It sounds like Watt is going to come back strong and healthy, Clowney took a step forward, their secondary is really good. They've got a fantastic WR in Hopkins and a fantastic RB in Miller. If you put an experienced, decent QB in this mix they have a punchers chance to beat anyone, ESPECIALLY in their weak division and ESPECIALLY in a weak AFC. Once they get to the Pats if a couple things fall their way, they could get past them.
If they stick with Brock Osweiler who is a bottom 1/3 QB in this league, the best they're going to do is a repeat of what we saw this season. The window won't be open forever for this team, the Titans seem to be getting better and have a decent QB and running back already. And with NFL owners being a pack of reactionary, jumpy morons, they could let a really good coach like B.O'B get away without some results over the next few seasons.
All Houston needs is a decent veteran QB to challenge KC, Oakland and Pittsburgh for second best team in the AFC.

we'll be good someday
gotta have faith

playing in a weak division just means more playoff opportunity
Colts are taking the division back this year.

>You just better hope the Titans screw up their draft or free agency
Like they know any other way.

>decent QB
You'd think with Houston being one of the largest US cities, they'd be able to pony up, but they never do. Consistently run like a small-market team.
And a generation of fans spoiled by Warren Moon, where it looks like the front office just got lucky.
>tfw NFC South
HOW THE FUCK DID THIS SHIT STAIN OF A DIVISION SEND 2 TEAMS IN A ROW TO LOSE TO A TEAM WITH AN ANCIENT QB!
>>74139820
Practice.
>>74139792
To be fair, the Texans just ponied up for a 72 million dollar mistake.
The clock is ticking on Watt. Houston needs to bite the bullet and offer Cutler/Romo the last contract of their career, heavy on the back end to offset all the money they're going to flush over the next 2-3 years on Osweiler.

>here is a measured, reasonable response based on the facts of their current situation and the best possible solution for all parties involved.
You'd make a terrible GM, anon.

We will trade you the bills and the dolphins for the colts and the jags
>>74139730
>Doesn't realize the titans had the best off-season of any team last year (worst team in the league in 15/16 went 9-7 this year) and now have two 1st round picks this year with the 5th most cap
>>74140179
DONE.
Now the Dolphins and Bills win the AFC South every year and the Patriots go 15-1 for the forseeable future.

My dreams will never become reality...
Texcants 9-7
Tits 9-7
Cunts 8-8
