A heave spring is (traditionally) used to control up and down movement.

When the front end dives under braking, both rocker arms turn inward, and the heave spring manages that.
By replacing the spring with a more complex hydraulic unit, you can make the car a lot more stable under braking, and over kerbs.

In simplest terms, they use the hydraulic unit to store pressure generated by up and down movement. Then when the car is leaning in a corner, they use that stored pressure to level the car out.

I'll fix the titles because that is triggering me.
I'll add championships but the idea was how many drivers a country has produced to each world champion.
I will try remove every "home race only" driver because I agree that they shouldn't really count.
I probably won't get round to it until tonight ~12 hours time, so give any more feedback and ideas now if you want to.

At the moment my plan is to do 3 sections, raw numbers, home only racers removed and championships (using the home racers removed number of drivers). I will also add a ranking column because it will make it easier to see because each section will have a different ranking.

If you filtered the drivers as a minimum of 5 starts it would probably be more representative, in the 50s through to the 70s it was quite common for some rich guy to run a race or two, I don't really count them as proper F1 drivers. For example, Canada has had 3 (soon to be 4) drivers worth mentioning yet a fuckload of 1 or 2 time privateers in the 50s and 60s. And you should make sure that Indy 500 drivers are excluded, they wildly inflate the numbers for American drivers.
