This is definitely true. And OP definitely didn't pull the part about muskets out of his tiny anus.

After the bombing at the Boston Marathon one of the measures taken was a gunshot detection system and HD cameras the whole parade route.

This is "apparently" the reason the city of Boston does not want the EZM in the parade, but there is still nothing from City Hall about it. The only people saying the EZM is not allowed is some members of the EZM. No one else has said anything about it.

a couple members of the militia have stated that Boston was concerned about them firing their muskets and setting off the alarm system set up along the parade routes after the marathon bombing.

They have countered by assuring the City they will march with muskets and simply not fire .. no powder. that is the latest.

They marched two years ago with no incident. We shall see. Watch footage of the parade and see if they are there and if they are carrying muskets. that is the only way to verify this story.

Update: One of the minutemen called into local sports radio WEEI 93.7 FM and said that it was the mayoral office as there is a firearm ban in place during the parade. Even those present at and in the parade must not be armed

The source is two members of the EZM on the FB page. The mayor of Boston hasn't said anything about it and is directing all inquiries about the parade to the boston.gov site, which only shows parking restrictions.

EZM Twitter only has the fox25 story. EZM FB says the city is concerned about the gunshot detection system being set off (it was set up after the marathon bombing).

Watch the live feed at 11 am EST and see if they are marching with muskets and not firing, or marching without muskets. That is the only way to know.
