I'm surprised we're getting this kind of recognition for the conference we play in, but we do have a few >quality wins. Hope we can keep this up, but >muh free throws.

I still haven't got a good read on you guys yet. I like Caupain a lot, but I can't bring myself to like Evans or Washington and those are your two leading scorers. Hopefully you guys can get a few more challenges in conference play, I think that would be more beneficial than winning out. @SMU should be a tough one and that conference tourney is always a minefield.

Everytime either of them shoot a jumper, I hold my breath because their forms are so awful. A few games back one of the announcers said there were "a lot of NBA scouts" at the game, for Evans. I guess his size and athleticism for a wing makes him a good prospect, but another year or two in college would help him TREMENDOUSLY.

Come conference tourney/tourney time, don't be surprised when both of the above lay huge eggs and Troy simply wills us to a win because of his leadership and clutchness.

Jarron Cumberland is really starting to come on hot recently though and has been a nice surprise.

This is >allegedly (and I guess even statistically) the best offensive team Mick has had. For some reason I doubt that though. I haven't checked the numbers myself, but we've got a few huge blowouts. A lot of the games we play still feel like classic clunkers where we play defense and can't hit free throws for a game in the high 50s or 60s.

Should be interesting coming down the stretch.

This is the best offensive Cincy team I can remember, which isn't saying much. It's not pretty, but at least some shots go in because there's talent. It's slightly better than the get 1 basket for every 5 offensive rebounds brand of basketball that they used to try and win with.

I'm a UC student but still kind of new to basketball. Didn't really start giving a fuck about the sport until my junior year of HS since we had a state tier team that year, but were still a football first school. Still getting used to having basketball be the main focus instead of football at UC.

If we finish #7-8 this season, where would we get seeded for the tourney?

Rankings aren't the greatest indicators of seed since they have different criteria. In that scenario I'd guess that you'd get a 3 or 4 seed. There's not really a lot you guys can do to improve your resume during conference play because the AAC is filled with a bunch of okay but not great teams.

Incredible at passing and perimeter shooting, has great vision and chemistry with his team, and those things alone make him one of if not the most potent offensive threat this season.

However, his jump shot inside the arc and tendency to get sloppy on offense hold him back, and his defense is almost non-existent. He's definitely a first rounder if not a lottery pick regardless, but he definitely has flaws.

All that said, watching the guy when he's hot feels like he's slapping everything you know about basketball in your face. It doesn't make sense and he just pulls offense out of nowhere, but it works. Usually.

You can cruise through two years at Backwater Community College and get an Associate's and college isn't hard. It's not just a matter of not being lazy if, say, your goal was to get a Bachelor's in engineering from MIT. For bigger-name and high-standard schools, college is not a place to make the mediocre student good--it makes the great student better.

The great student also has more potential to get a high-paying job and contribute to their alma mater out of that salary. Colleges are not that magnanimous or generous out of the goodness of their hearts. Fucking Harvard has an 11-digit endowment which continues to grew in perpetuity and they still want alumni to throw money into the hole.

Not true really. Wisconsin has done most of their climbing recently, not related to preseason rankings, only related to beating the teams they should beat unlike the other teams around them.
