Is this the biggest choke in sports history or does Warriors 3-1 choke is worse?
biggest choke in terms of a single game
18-1 still biggest choke in terms of a season
3-1 second biggest
AC Milan choked worse but this is the biggest choke in amerisports definitely
18-1 biggest choke because it had historical implications.
3-1 and Falcons loss are tied for 2 IMO
warriors choked 3 whole games
failcons only choked 1.5 quarters and OT
BRA7IL
In fairness the Patriots were the ones choking for the first half. They just stopped choking.

I'd say it goes
1. 18-1
2. 21 point lead
3. 3-1

Milan at least took it to penalties, this is like them losing 4-3 in ET

It's hard to evaluate these things as a single event.
18-1 was still a gigantic choke but the Pats have moved past it by winning Owls.
3-1 is also huge but it looks increasingly likely that the Warriors will win the title this year in which case it stings less.
Will the Falcons win a Owl over the next few years? I doubt it, so it could possible be the biggest choke.

For a single game it is a historic choke

>getting beaten is the same as a choke
It's only been a few minutes and I'm already loving the sound of blasted Atlanta ass.

This is absolutely worse. The Warriors were defending NBA champions and just put up a 73-9 regular season record and barely got past OKC, on top of all the shit that went on during the finals.
Atlanta only had to put down a practically dead GB to win the NFC championship game, but still choked after going up 28-3 to the Pats.
This is easily the worst choke in sports, when you consider the fact that Atlanta dodged Dallas and has been torching teams the entire year, yet could not even stop New England from make 2 two-point conversions and tying the game and forcing an OT where they couldn't make a single fucking stop.
