Will this board ever stop bullying the 12s?
And the pass is INTERCEPTED

and then he chose to fall in the right direction
how could he be this good
>>74045829
they forced it
Why did he throw the ball so far ahead of Lockette? Is this way the play is designed or was it a bad throw? If he throws it a yard to the right Lockette can catch it and his momentum takes him into the endzone.
Since he is supposed to be wide open (because of the pick play) it would make sense to make sure he gets the ball in his hands.

Because he's another meme black QB.

>throwing the ball directly at a running target
No.

If he led him a bit less it would've been a back shoulder pass which normally would be a bad pass but in this case it's what they needed. Nobody anticipated the Pats corners to read the slant, much less two of them (remember, what's his face also jammed the other receiver at the line to prevent the pick on Butler). Wilson took it for granted and just made the normal throw, not anticipating Butler to cut behind the pick and beat the receiver to the ball. Wilson came off the field and asked Carroll what happened (meaning he didn't even see what the corners had done and just threw the ball like a machine who can't read the defense), to which Carroll replied with surprise, "they undercut the route..." I honestly think Butler and the other corner were the only two people in the stadium who knew what was about to happen. Perfectly executed and that's why the Pats are the best. They practiced and watched film for just about anything.

Pats were in goal line defense and the only reason they had three corners was out there is because they match the number of receivers regardless of what play they think will be called. I think almost everyone thought it would be a run.
