So guys I stand before you a defeated and dejected man. Been using the 4-3-3(4) for roughly 15 straight online seasons... rose into Div 3 and once and got promptly knocked out, then languished in Div 4 for a bunch of years before I finally got relegated into Div 5 now after losing my final three games.

I sold half of my mostly meme EPL team and I have 260k coins to spend. Someone please recommend me a brand new formation and some players and instructions. I'm dead inside.

Wow I just got this game the first time this year. Got good enough to annihilate the pc every time on pro and win regularly at the upper levels.

I just played my first online and I was wondering if the controls are different or something? Suddenly none of my pass are accurate or even go to the correct target. My guys slow down.

When I did get the passing on target guys were slowing down and not going to the ball anymore, moving at the last second, totally opening the way for an opponent steal.

The opponent would literally do nothing but try to dribble every time. which eventually worked twice for him. I guess it didn't work for me because I just didn't give enough attempts at the RNG for it to work.

Dude... is this formation and tactic set supposed to give me a lot of scoring chances? Is it hard to get used to or something?

I built up an okayish cheap/mid priced team for it and I am doing fucking horrible in Div 5 lol. Started out 2-1-0 but they were some of the worst wins I've ever had. Now I'm 2-1-3 and can't get anything going.

There is just nothing happening at all going forward - except on the wings leaving me just sending crosses in that inevitably fail most of the time. Intelligent runs are barely being made, nobody really going in and pressuring the box. And, I have to defend for my life most of the time on counterattacks. I'm ok at that, giving up between 0 and 2 goals per match it seems, but I'd rather every single defensive sequence not be so 50/50 in terms of them getting a chance lol. And I can't score.

Anyone else got any more suggestions? Background, I am a former 4-3-3(4) player who has admitted he's shit and can't get past Div 4 and wants to change things up.

I regularly put up 3+ goals in Fut Champs. The formation is built around possession and slow build up. Do lots of backwards passing and LT/RT dribbling to hold the ball up while waiting for your opponent to open up and your players to make runs in. You shouldn't really be crossing much, instead you should be cutting inside with your outside midfielders and either passing to the edge of the box or firing low driven crosses near post.

What team are you using? If your CMs aren't good at attacking you might have trouble scoring goals.

I'll try that, I guess I've been trying to play it similarly to a 4-3-3 still a little bit. Honestly though, I've very terrible when being pressured on the ball and struggle to beat people 1 v 1 when needed (and I never do skill moves) so I'll have to see if this is something I can adjust to or not. I might just not be good enough for such a strategy.
