How are so many of the Patriots so fucking based? It's like BB just literally takes the best human beings available and makes them win football games solely by deserving it the most.

His father was an assistant football coach at the United States Naval Academy. I believe seeing those guys on & off the field really impressed upon Belichick the importance of character.

>>HURR NOT ALL OF THEM ARE GREAT GUYS
No shit, that's not what I implied. I said that many of them, a seemingly disproportionate number relative to other teams, are stellar standup guys from great families or who have made something of themselves despite not being from great families. Hell, you pointed out Floyd, why not Hernandez? No team is made up of exclusively good guys. It's the NFL. But I do think that there are an unusually high number of these guys on the Pats relative to other team. Maybe it's because BB values football IQ over pure size and speed? IDK. But it's an observation that I think holds reasonably true.
