Certainly not of all time but he's one of the best around currently.

One thing that hurts him is that he isn't a power back and pretty much every team wants a guy that can run through contact. Shady is agile and shifty with tremendous speed but all the best running teams right now are looking for a guy that can run straight up the middle and make yards, hole or no hole.

The de-emphasis on the running game has hurt Shady more than any other RB in this generation.
