A couple weeks ago a show I was listening to broke down all the possible SB matchups and when they got to Falcons vs Patriots they were like ugh... worst possible match. There were so many awesome possibilities and we ended up with this. The only mildly interesting outcome is if the Patriots get beat, which they probably won't. Another boring workmanline Patriots game and another Boston superbowl that they will barely care about. Most of the playoff games turned out to be blowouts too. It was a good season with a shitty conclusion. The league will be better off when Brady finally stops winning, it's boring.

The Packers shut themselves down. Falcons defense had very little to do with the catastrophic choke unless it was their mind control abilities making Packers receivers drop balls. The offense also made a few mistakes that a competent defense like the Pats would definitely capitalise on, there was at least 2 dropped picks and a missed fumble recovery by the Packers in that game.

It's Belichick's chance to win five Owls with the same team.
It's Atlanta's chance for their very first Owl and potentially to kick start what could be a run of dominance in the NFC. They have a great offense and a great new coach who was the architect of one of the best defenses of this generation .
