they played like shit for the 1st half of last year because they're a bunch of spoiled brats that wanted their manager sacked. they got what they wanted now it's back to business as usual. the only reason why conte came to the chelsea is because he knew if he played his cards right and kept the players happy the league would be cake.

the only thing the euros showed me was that he could choke out games with a good defense and terrible attackers. but its not a good idea to take international soccer too seriously when it comes to predicting club team performance for players or managers. the sample size is way smaller and the team dynamic is pretty different.
