Did anyone think about this? Like arranged marriage, but first

Matchmaker services exist, you know. From what I have understood, arranged marriages are more of a matchmaker thing and typically won't go through if there isn't consent between both parties. Nowadays, dating sites have replaced this in the West, but I wonder if similar services exist specifically for arranging marriage. With technology, this could be an interesting take on traditional arranged marriages.

Also, what ever happened to the matchmaker who used to have threads here?
