Getting fluent in better interests will take you years, but you have to start.
Fastest way is changing location, the second fastest is dieting.

The ideal would be taking 2 hours for literature and 2 for studying a new language daily and 1/2 for working out.

Clean up the beard a bit and get a haircut. Start working out (if you don't already, helps with confidence and well-being). Dress in a way that 1. expresses who you are and 2. is well kept and clean.
