I look better with some stubble up to about a week of not shaving, after that it's uncomfortable and awful. I think I went like two weeks maybe three, this last time. It doesn't look great because a lot of my beard hair is incredibly light blond, you basically can't see it. Not sure why, I've always had dark hair.

I've been letting my hair grow for about one and a half years, I used to have a long fringe with shaved back and sides, I tried cutting my fringe shorter a few days ago since I always keep my hair tied up anyways but I cut it too short and now I have to keep it in this silly front pony tail

I'm going to let my fringe grow a bit more and then I'll go to the hairdresser for the first time in forever and trim it so all the sides are equally long and let it keep growing.

And yes, I know I look like I'm about to die, I'm working night shifts and it's almost 4.30 AM

Not as long as lots of the people here, but the curls make it look shorter than it is. Stretched out my bangs go to my chin.

Should i get it cut? I hate getting it cut because i never know what to say to the barber or stylist. Do yall get cuts every so often and do you go to salons or barbers?

Eh, honestly I probably have more time in DS2 than in DS1. Mostly because DS1 pvp was broken most of the time because of GFWL, spent a lot of time in the iron keep bridge just PVPing.

I think I liked DS1 the most, played DS2 the most, and still don't have the DLC for DS3 + don't currently have the drive to play.

Naw, not really worth getting into. Long story short friend just keeps ditching me for somebody else all the time, because said other person will spend hundreds of dollars on gifts. So I don't really get to spend any time with my best friend.

To be honest, go the safe route, get into some sort of hair cutting program. I started because I was in the military and we had to get haircuts every week, I got tired of spending $15 a week, so I started just doing it to myself in the mirror. Took about half a year of fuck ups before I really figured out what I was doing. I do it for fun, I give my friends hair cuts for free. But I have several friends who are barbers and stylists, it seems like a satisfying career in all honesty.

I'm trying to grow my shit out but it just wants to be an afro. I've cut back to washing it once a week with shampoo but it still looks like sasquatch's pubes. I'm white but I've always had thick, wiry hair that says fuck you to any conditioners or oils I use. It lays down with gel/oil until it dries and then it goes back to looking like the Jackson five.
I'm thinking about relaxing it to see what happens....any suggestions?

So just to try to drum up some actual conversation, maybe.

Any of the other long hair guys have a problem with only one kind of woman showing interest in them?

I ask because, well it's not 100%, but typically the only girls that will actually say anything positive about my appearance are the "metal head" kind of girls.

I'm not complaining, just curious if that's a normal thing.

I didn't really have an inspiration, I just got incredibly depressed after leaving school, didn't go outside for pretty much a whole year. Became too attached to the hair I had grown, would've felt "too exposed" if I got rid of it.

That was like 7 years ago now, can't see myself going short again, it wouldn't feel right. Plus I think I look better with it longer anyway.

How is it a pain to maintain? You literally need to was and brush it every few days. Takes me 15 minutes and my hair is twice your length!

I love it, I thoroughly enjoy having long hair, but I also struggle with being uncomfortably hot at all times, so the shaved sides really helps cool myself off while still having the long hair. So if you've wanted to do this, I'd totally suggest you do. It can be a little funky though, I'm competent at cutting hair, so doing it myself was easy. I'd suggest you find a good stylist/barber to have it done.
