You have an interesting look yourself, but I think the only thing holding you back appearance-wise is your skin quality. I have skin issues too (and an awful birthmark I have to cover up) and I know greasy skin when I see it. Perhaps see a derm to see what they'd recommend? Dermatologists aren't the smartest rank of doctor but they are very trigger-happy in prescribing prescription creams and lotions that actually work (unlike the stuff over the counter).
