I know it's usually a red flag but I got into some OOC play and had a good time. Wasnt even a random, just sort of fell into it with an on-and-off partner. Usually not big on raceplay-focused RPs outside of fantasy stuff, but your writeups for her are pretty good. As for things you could improve on, I'd say add in an inline, work on more custom kinks, and shave off that disclaimer tab and put it in your no customs where it's more likely to be read. Also, take away the Eva tab and put all of its contents out in the open instead, lessening the tabs would make it look way better in my opinion. Perhaps also spread out the alternatives bit into your customs (such as the shemale option) to make it more noticeable, though it might be fine as is.

It's pretty easy, you just upload images you want for inlines onto the site itself, then when you're in your profile edit, you can plug them in via the 'insert inline' icon that looks like a little window. You can pretty much put whatever you like: regular images, images with your character altered to have a transparent background (the image you posted in thread would actually be perfect to make transparent using GIMP or something else due to its white background), and some people go all out and make the entire body of their profile with inlines.

The main idea is to keep the focus on narrative. Narrative is always driven by conflict, and that's what must be kept in mind at all times.

At the start of the RP, the main conflict must be outlined. Create two (give or take) aspects* that must be either current issues or impending issues. Also, describe your character through aspects as lined out in the rulebook - but keep it at aspects. No stunts, no skills, nothing.

We then have issues and character aspects. If anything must be described and is important to the story, create an aspect for it either at character creation or game creation.

Those aspects must be kept in mind at all times while rping. You don't need to roll dice - if the aspects say you should succeed at something, then you succeed. Same if it implies failure. Only roll if it's REALLY necessary, like in very ambiguous situations, and if both success and failure might make things more interesting.

When rolling, use any of the options in the rulebook. You may or may have not a fate point economy and that's up to the players. A simpler version could just set a base difficulty and make it increase or decrease depending on whether aspects are positive or negative. Or you could earn a +2 to your next roll if you compel an aspect.

But as I said rolling is not necessary, only looking at the aspects and determining what tells a better story should do. This is not a typical RPG after all.

*An aspect is a short phrase that describes a truth in the story and it's central to the Fate mechanics.

I actually like dice rolls and they're something I miss in purely freeform RP. I want to be able to put myself in my character's place and think about how doable something is (weigh up aspects in the case of Fate) and decide if I want to risk it or not, knowing that the result won't be decided by me, or with my partner, or even by a GM, but just by the story (as represented by the aspects) and the luck of the roll.

One of Fate's greatest strengths is that the system is always the same no matter how much you remove from it (except if you remove aspects; that's what defines Fate as a game). So yes, you can take what I said and put a bigger emphasis on rolls, or just follow this option: all of Fate's rules stay, except that there are no skills or stunts (feats).

Fate is great to work on stories with a big focus on narrative, so I thought it's perfect for story-based erps.

A quick example. Let's suppose I just met a girl, and I'm supposed to defend her at the start of a RP.

I see, this and your example give me the picture. In particular the compel. I always forget those.

I was weaned on D&D and the like, and now it's hard for me to think narrative. I have a D&D kind of perception, thinking about what my character is capable of ahead of what makes the best story, even in freeform, where my "stats" and chances are the GM's arbitration.

That view doesn't totally determine how I play, especially in ERP, but it frames how I look at scenes. As challenges or puzzles first and foremost.

When it comes to story-based systems, things like compels in particular slip my mind.

To add to this: avoid outright ERP during the game, unless it's a play-by-post or something. It slows things down and forces everyone else to sit and wait. Throw fetishy situations at them in the game, and if "sex happens" is a result at some point, do the actual playing-out of that sex outside of game time. Create opportunities, but follow up on them later, or the game will slow to a crawl. It's a lot easier to get two people together than it is an entire group, so those scenes can be done whenever.

Otherwise, well, margin of success on approaches on flist is not something you should expect to be high anyway. A lot of people reject even scenarios and character that seem to be perfectly in line with their favourite kinks.

I just made a bunch of pngs in gimp that had the profile's text presented aesthetically alongside the images, so all the visual design is just an inline that you can easily reupload and slap onto a new profile. Over 80% of the people I met in F-List, both men and women, were broken in one way or another. I can count with the fingers of a single hand the amount of people that don't have some serious mental issue (and yes I don't mean some sort of personality trait, but actual issues including clinical depression). I came back to the game for stormblood, but never hit cap during ARR so I was pretty clueless, almost into the new expansion storyline but I had to roll on another server due to the lock on balmung. it gives me like 90days before I can transfer to another server anyway but I'd hopefully manage to get back there as most of my friends are loitering there too, who are basically all rabid ERPers albeit in other games like WoW. Yeah it's a pain in the ass, on my original account (only got level 40 at the time) I managed to get onto Balmung during a maintenance right after installing the game. I fucked up and got my account linked to steam somehow, so ended up deciding to start anew. I'll be waiting quite a while, wish they'd just hurry up and designate a realm or two as dedicated-RP and provide transfers off of it but they seem hesitant due to the backlash that might invoke within the communities.

It's called role playing, but I always thought of it more as a writing collaboration, and writing is always better when you're writing about what you know.
I KNOW what I want out of a girl in the bedroom, what responses I'd want to get out of her, yet while I know what a good male character sounds like in everyday fiction, I don't know how to translate that personality into the character's sex life in a sexy way. I think that's why the only blue players I like on f-list are always extremely kink-driven. Everyone else is stuck between an impromptu dnd roll and the fucking bad boy from Fifty Shades of Grey.

I've actually never seen or had a Fifty Shades of Grey guy approach me on one of my female characters, though I keep hearing this is a common trope on F-List. Maybe it's just because I'm on the dominant end of the spectrum, but even then I've been approached by people wanting to dom me a bunch of times. I usually turn it around on them mid-play though.
