No hickey possible, I never bruise and I've been playing lacrosse since I was 8. Tests came back with anemia maybe that could cause it?

I bruise like that at the drop of a hat. If it happened within a day or two, try some topical arnica gel. Gently dry brushing bruised areas can also help.

I've also had iron deficiency anemia. Depending on why you're anemic, you may want to look at getting more iron in your diet, through supplements or food choices.

Yep, anemia makes you bruise like a peach. I have le anemia meme so I know these feels. Try eating tons of brown bread, brown pasta and brown rice. Oh and also Weetabix.

Unless you give blood every eight weeks, or are a girl, it's desirable to be slightly anemic because iron builds up in heart tissue slowly killing it. As long as you are not passing out every time you stand up, go easy on the iron supplements.
